Wyvern

Wyvern is a Canadian Earth observation company developing hyperspectral imaging satellites that capture hundreds of contiguous spectral bands across visible and near-infrared wavelengths — far beyond what standard RGB or multispectral satellites provide. Founded in 2018 in Edmonton, Alberta, Wyvern's Dragonette satellites enable precision agriculture (crop stress detection, yield estimation), environmental monitoring (water quality, deforestation, soil carbon), and resource exploration applications. The company's first hyperspectral satellite launched in 2022 and demonstrated on-orbit imaging.
